Welcome to Pacific Motorcycle Training, the top school to learn how to ride a motorcycle safely in the San Francisco Peninsula. During our classes, you will learn everything you need to know to ride and control your motorcycle safely. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of riding a motorcycle—and getting your license endorsement—or simply improving your motorcycle skills to be safer on the road, come with us and we will provide you with the best classes you can get in the San Francisco Peninsula. We are part of the California Motorcyclist Safety Program and all of our instructors are certified to teach the Total Control riding courses.

Our San Bruno site is only a 15-20 minute walk from BART, so it is a great option for students needing to use public transportation. (Note: if taking BART, sign up for our PM session and be sure to go https://www.bart.gov/planner to plan your trip.) The training location is also easy to get to by car as it is conveniently located off HWY 380 and El Camino Real, right between 101 and 280.

eRider option available at this location

At our San Bruno site, we are offering eRider. The eRider online classroom is a six hour course that can be done at your convenience and in the comfort of your home. It is highly interactive, using video and other features to address risk management, riding strategy, roadway management, impairments, and special riding situations like carrying passengers and group riding. Participants complete all classroom activities (6 chapters) before the first riding session.

The eRider is a great option for students who are successful at learning in an individualized, self-paced environment. Please check our eRider FAQs page for eRider system requirements.

We welcome all San Bruno residents as well as future riders from neighboring towns such as Hillsborough, Millbrae, Burlingame, Pacifica, San Francisco, Colma, Daly City, Brisbane, and more.

"Helpful staff. Knowledgeable instructors. You will definitely come out more confident in riding a motorcycle if you are a newbie. A con though: You better pass the written test the first time, or else they will charge you $75 to re-take it. I personally did not see the reason why. I mean, I took it during their business hour."
― Johnny Gonzalez
"Ken and Kyle are really great teachers! They are patient, knowledgeable and sure speak SLOW so that we can hear the instructions clear. I had more fun than I expected. SSF is quite cooler than South Bay though."
― Yuxiao Wu
"I had not ridden a motorcycle in 25 years. The course helped me regain the feel of riding and increased my confidence. The instructors were great and very patient with those in the class that had never been on a motorcycle. The techniques taught were very useful for how to corner and brake. Totally worth the money!"
― Marty Heaney
"Absolutely fantastic training for the newbie!! I was riding a motorcycle by the end of the day- it was fabulous! The teachers, both in the classroom and on the range, are all very experienced (10+years) riders. They stayed calm even when I didn't. The classroom instruction is thorough but not excessive; I would have loved a few more hours on the range since I was SO new. I will definitely be taking more classes with them!"
― Kristi Swensson Burdsall
"Instructors were excellent and highly knowledgeable. They were outstanding coaches! Course definitely advanced my skills and confidence."
― Dennis

Take the class. I have been riding dirt bikes for years and this class was very helpful having never ridden a street bike. Loved it!"
