Welcome to Pacific Motorcycle Training, the top school to learn how to ride a motorcycle safely in the Sacramento area. During our classes, you will learn everything you need to know to ride and control your motorcycle safely. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of riding a motorcycle—and getting your license endorsement—or simply improving your motorcycle skills to be safer on the road, come with us and we will provide you with the best classes you can get in the Sacramento Area. We are part of the California Motorcyclist Safety Program and all of our instructors are certified to teach the Total Control riding courses.

Convenient on-line classroom

The classroom portion consists of a six-hour course called eRider that can be done at your convenience and in the comfort of your home. It is highly interactive, using video and other features to address risk management, riding strategy, roadway management, impairments, and special riding situations like carrying passengers and group riding. Participants complete all classroom activities (6 chapters) before their first in-person motorcycle riding session. The motorcycle riding portion of the course consists of 10 hours of in-person instruction on gas powered motorcycles. The 10-hours of riding instruction takes place over two days and builds fundamental street-riding skills and strategies.

The eRider is a great option for busy students who are successful at learning in an individualized, self-paced environment. Please check our eRider FAQs page for eRider system requirements.

We welcome all Sacramento residents as well as future riders from neighboring towns such as Woodland, Davis, Dixon, and Yuba. Come learn how to ride a motorcycle and have fun with us!

"Brian and Evee were the absolute best. Unreal skills and even better teachers. It completely changed the way I ride. I thought the price was expensive at first but it was worth every penny. The DR200 I was on was perfect for my riding and practice to work on skills. Would’ve left 10 stars if possible!"

"When I heard that these guys were opening a Sacramento location, I got three friends signed up who've been gearing up to take a training course on the east side. I wasn't surprised that they enjoyed their experience as much as I did. I would recommend Pacific Motorcycle Training to anyone looking to learn from scratch or just to keep your skills fresh. Very professional, knowledgeable and they keep it fun!"

"If you’ve ever wanted to ride a motorcycle, I highly recommend these phenomenal instructors! They’re so easy to work with and so kind. Stephanie at helping me out with scheduling, Chris was awesome with getting me the info I needed quickly, and Zack the instructor was so patient. I went from being terrified to ride, to zipping around and having a blast. My cheeks hurt from smiling"

"I am training to be an instructor and it is required to take several classes to get an understanding of the program from a new rider's perspective. I am impressed with how well the program works I have been to 1 class and then I was a student both times I watched Evie teach very new students ranging in age how to ride a motorcycle. She is a great teacher and is very good at giving positive feedback and helping the students if they need help in a certain drill..."

"Pros: Did the course in woodland. Amazing coaches and teachers. Playing sports and having many coaches in my life has shown me what a bad coach is. These are great coaches. After every drill run they give you feedback and show you how to fix your mistakes for your next try. They had that sparkle in their eye when teaching and talking about bikes you can tell they really want the best for everyone. Not a con more of a “heads up”: They say the program isn’t meant to make you a “complete rider” and that’s true, they only have a small amount of time to shove everything to save your life into a small program..."
- Marc, June 2026
"Zack was a very understanding and caring instructor. Answered questions outside of the classes scope when brought up and taught that basic teachings weren't the be all end all. Amazing experience and teachings."
- Zachary Zenner, June 2025
"The instructors, Q, Steve, and Evie were very knowledgeable. They explained things well and kept everything on time. They were able to identify when I needed special instructions and pulled me out to coach me on proper techniques and gave me specific information that helped me improve."
- Joe Kepiro, March 2024
